Join us at Santa Rosa’s Earth Day Event and our Next Greenway Walk
Take on the Global Earth Day Challenge with your own Act of Green. Join us for an Earth Day celebration at Santa Rosa’s Courthouse Square from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. This FREE, family-friendly, zero-waste festival brings the community together through fun activities, live performing arts, great food, and inspiring exhibits that raise environmental awareness. We will be there sharing maps and information about the Southeast Greenway. Help us celebrate Santa Rosa’s new park and see how you can contribute to this community resource. We can’t wait to hear what you envision!
Walk the Greenway with us! There’s nothing like seeing Santa Rosa’s newest park in person. Beginning at Franquette Avenue, we will walk alongside the Greenway, seeing the neighborhoods, walnut groves, and expansive views that make the Greenway remarkable.
Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
We will meet on Franquette Ave. between Hoen and Mayette, where you will find adequate street parking. Look for Greenway volunteers near the fenced area by the Greenway. From there, we will hike adjacent to the Greenway on paths and sidewalks for a 2+ mile walk and shuttle those who would like to get a ride back to Montgomery High School from Summerfield and Hoen.
