Explore the Greenway on Foot!
Autumn has arrived! Join us for our last walk of 2023 and enjoy the Greenway while the weather is still beautiful. Do you know which creeks cross the Greenway and where features such as trails, community gardens, and mixed-use housing might be in the future? During this informational walk on the Greenway, we will explore what this property has to offer and answer your questions. We ask that all participants be vaccinated and respect social distancing.
Saturday, October 7th, 2023, at 9:00 am
We will meet on Franquette Ave. between Hoen and Mayette, where you will find adequate street parking. Look for Greenway volunteers near the fenced area by the Greenway. From there we will hike adjacent to the Greenway on paths and sidewalks for a 2+ mile walk, and shuttle those who would like to get a ride back to MHS from Summerfield and Hoen.
