Explore Urban Walking Trails That Connect Natural Spaces!
Our Greenway Partners, Sonoma Land Trust and Ag + Open Space, are offering a series of free urban walks in Santa Rosa on Monday evenings this summer. Each one of these walks has a story to tell, and we’ll be learning about those stories as we explore the walking trails that connect natural spaces in our city. We will be walking the Colgan Creek trail on July 31, the Roseland Creek trail on August 7, and the Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway on August 28. This week we will explore the Colgan Creek Trail in southwest Santa Rosa. As we walk along this gentle trail, we’ll learn about the work that has gone into restoring this ecosystem and enjoy the beautiful views across the Santa Rosa Plain.
Level: Gentle
There is no charge for these events, which are made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who fund the work of Ag + Open Space with a quarter-cent sales tax.
