Join Us and Enjoy this Remarkable Property

Bring your friends and check out Santa Rosa’s newest park property. This is the first summer our community has access to the land, and it’s a great time to see what it’s all about. Here are two opportunities to experience the property for yourself and see the potential ahead.

Guided Walk on the Southeast Greenway
July 19, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Join volunteers Pete Dellavalle and Will Baty for an easy, two-mile walk on the Southeast Greenway. Did you know that the Greenway will provide a critical link in our county-wide active transportation pathway system? Or that the property crosses 3 creeks and is close to 6 schools? Many opportunities lie ahead as we begin the planning phase for this land. Sign up here!

Nature Journaling in the Watershed
July 23, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Join our partner Sonoma Land Trust for a nature journaling exploration of the Santa Rosa Creek Watershed as it flows through the Southeast Greenway. This workshop is part of six outings visiting key waterways on protected lands. Take time to sit, observe, and document what you see. Attend one or all of the workshops designed for people of all ages and abilities. Free; registration required.
