Register for an Informational Greenway Walk
Spring is here! It’s a great time to get outside and discover the Greenway on foot while it’s green. Do you know which creeks cross the Greenway and where features such as trails, community gardens, and mixed-use housing might be in the future? We are planning an informational walk on the Greenway where we will explore what this property has to offer and answer your questions. We ask that all participants be vaccinated, wear masks, and respect social distancing.
Monday, May 23 at 5:30 pm
We will meet at the fenced gate to Montgomery High School, which is located on Franquette Ave. between Hoen and Mayette, where there is adequate street parking. From there we will hike adjacent to the Greenway on paths and sidewalks for a 2-mile walk, and shuttle those who would like to get a ride back to MHS from Summerfield and Hoen.
